At AIPIS, you have the benefit of what you already know. Our competency-based approach takes into consideration course transfers and experience evaluation for all prior learning skills and certifications. Our evaluation team takes into consideration many factories that favor more credit transfer for students. Critical evaluations of your prior course work and/or experience puts you a step away from graduation. All transfers and claim for exemptions are treated on an individual bases upon request and payment of applicable fees. If you have some prior learning degree and/or experience, you probably have some questions in mind about what can transfer.

When you submit your application for admission, an undergraduate advisor will work together with your selected school to determine how the transferred credits apply to our graduation requirements. These credits can be transferred only after full admission.

The student must submit an official request for evaluation, and transfer of courses and pay a non-refundable evaluation fee of $25 per Course. Take note that AIPIS cannot transfer more than 45 Competency Units or 30 Credit hours.

All academic work transferred shall be accept for a complete final evaluation ONLY after receiving an official transcripts in sealed envelopes. AIPIS shall conduct partial evaluation at its discretion on all unofficial transcripts and partial transferable credit or exemption determined pending official transcripts mail directly to our Transcripts Unit.

All students with pending admission requirements shall be placed on a “Provisional Admission Status” (PAS). Upon clearance from the records and admissions unit, such students shall be notified in writing and their admission status shall reflect the outcome of the Records and Admission decision. For example if granted final admission clearance, the student’s status shall reflect “Admitted”.

Applicants who were granted PAS and fail to provide all required documentation after participating in mentoring for one quarter shall be advised accordingly and if disagrees with admission counselor advice will be asked to withdraw or expelled.

For all undergraduate programs, a personal evaluation of prior college transcripts will be needed to determine whether any course can be clear and applied towards requesting program.
AIPIS doesn’t accept transfers credits at the graduate level. For all graduate programs a proof of bachelor degree completion or equivalent is required prior to admissions. Applicants may substitute experience to course exemptions and may qualify for graduate admissions based on course-by-course exemptions (Contact an admissions counselor admissions@aipis-edu.net for more information on this).

To proceed with an official transcript evaluation, applicants must have completed an online form and paid the application and necessary evaluations charges (Contact our records and admissions unit at admissions@aipis-edu.net for details on evaluation charges).

AIPIS reserves the absolute right to accept or reject any request for transfers or course exemptions. Applicants are strongly advised to contact records and admissions to predetermine their qualification. Transfers from non-accredited institutions are not accepted but some course-by-course transfers may be validated using our Competency-Based Assessment Test (CBAT). Here the skills and knowledge of the applicant will be tested and the results forwarded to the Records and Admissions Unit for further consideration. AIPIS makes no promises that applicants must use this approach to qualify for transfers.

AIPIS operates on a quarterly system with Competency Units. All transferred course work will be converted to Competency Units, and applied towards the degree requirements. Course work that is transferred will be applied toward satisfying requirements for a specific major according to the same criteria as those used for equivalent AIPIS courses.
